KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE POSITION

The ideal candidate for this position would be responsible for following key activities, including but not limited to;

• Accountable for a smooth operation of Cheque Imaging & Truncation System (CITS), USD Draft Online Image Transfer System (UITS) and USD On-line Payment System (USD On-line) clearing systems and make sure those operations are carried out as per the guidelines and compliance standards documented in the operations processes.

• Conduct reconciliation activities after end of each clearing cycle of CITS, UITS and USD Online payment systems and assure 100% accuracy.

• Maintain records on clearing systems' technical issues and report to management.

• Adhere to the instructions given in the CITS, UITS and USD Online payment system operation manuals, desk instructions for business processes and other standard operating procedures.

• Ensure 100% compliance with the security policies and guidelines provided.

• Carry out CITS, UITS and USD Online clearing system technical support activities in line with agreed compliance standards within the given timeframes while maintaining 100% accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Diploma in IT or Business Management or a similar qualification from a recognized institute.

• 1 to 2 year experience in IT, Finance or Finance sector.

• Knowledge in clearing operations and payments systems will be added advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
